Are these scores published (on paper) ? I like to play along records, but some musics are too difficult to play without the sheets. Of course I don't try to play the same things as the drummer. I often work on Pat Metheny's records and I'm far from Paul Wertico's level, but it's a great help. Especially when the 22/8 time signature changes many times in the tune ! And it's always interesting to have the chords and the arrangements. If you print it, you'll sell at least one in France.
Dave Weckl published the drum scores for his album Rythm of the soul, with another CD of the music minus the drums. That was called In session. Very clever, so you had to buy it twice ! but the music was way less interesting than Cheating the polygraph.
And it's nice to hear the marimba in a big band. In France, we only play Jean-Sébastien Bach with it (joking).
