This song was released the year I was born, and my first cognitive memories as a toddler are of this song playing as my mother danced around the house with me in her arms. Very special little tune to my Mom, as her friend's sister was dating Frankie at the time. They were both from "the neighborhood" in South Philadelphia.

When it came to being cute, Justin Bieber and all the knuckleheads we have now couldn't hold a candle to Frankie Avalon in his prime. Very hot little Italian fella. he not only was a hit in music, he could act and was a hit in the movies. He just had it all. He could be hot and successful without being an asshole. No pop stars have that sort of career anymore.
