Does anybody see him, another set up for the fall,
Does anybody hear him, screaming at the same blank wall.
And everyone, can’t be right but everyone,
Will decide, i’m not afraid of the price i pay,
I won’t lie down as you walk away i’m sure you must have seen him,
I know you must have heard it all,
I know you used to be him,
Did anybody care at all…
This is my favorite Face to Face song ever, so I e-mailed Trever about it on his my-space and asked him what inspired him to write the lyrics for it. To my shock and pleasure, he wrote me back, but his reply was extremely vague and said something about "It's basically about helping someone you care for through a tough time" and he added that he didn't want to say too much so as to take away from other people's interpretation of it.
