it s plain to see
you ll wonder as you look at her
that you re getting older should have a talk with me you ll soon be going on lots of dates as to a man you grow
But think real hard you might recall the things your old dad said, that you re getting older should have a talk with me you ll soon be going on lots of dates as to a man you grow, it s plain to see
Girls were made to love, that you re getting older should have a talk with me you ll soon be going on lots of dates as to a man you grow
My father looked at me one day said son, but think real hard you might recall the things your old dad said Made, girls were made to love
that you re getting older should have a talk with me you ll soon be going on lots of dates as to a man you grow
That s why some stand 5 feet 2, girls were made to love
Girls were made to love, girls were made to love
Girls were made to love, that s why some stand 5 feet 2
Girls were made to love, would a kiss be right, that s why the kisses taste awfully sweet
But think real hard you might recall the things your old dad said, you ll wonder as you look at her, the more you look
Girls were made to love, there s one important thing every boy should know
It s plain to see, girls were made to love Brothers, that s why the kisses taste awfully sweet
That you re getting older should have a talk with me you ll soon be going on lots of dates as to a man you grow, girls were made to love Love, girls were made to love
That you re getting older should have a talk with me you ll soon be going on lots of dates as to a man you grow, girls were made to love
that s why some stand 5 feet 2
girls were made to love
one day soon you ll have a date take her home at night
That you re getting older should have a talk with me you ll soon be going on lots of dates as to a man you grow, would a kiss be right, that s why you watch em walk down the street
Girls were made to love, the more you ll find those doubts will fill your head Made, but think real hard you might recall the things your old dad said
that s why you watch em walk down the street
Girls were made to love, but think real hard you might recall the things your old dad said
How is it possible that there are so few views on all the You Tube post of Made to Love.
How can said fans of the Everlys can ignore this one
It is a PURE GENIOUS SONG .Without this one, this rythmn, there wldn 't have been probably Beatles songs
One of the greatest of the Everlys! The only critic being the song was too short
This is my most favorite and first song of all time. Circa 1960, my mon had the vynyl copy of the album,"A date with the Everly Brothers", and many of the songs on the album are "seared' into my brain. I've loved this song since and always have. GDI, I Love this song.
This Phil- made song is wonderful. Catchy n cheerful. Love so much.
Phil's talent of song writing is great I think, knowing that there're many masterpieces.
Guess Phil might hv wanted to sing lead, but on this tune Don's lead singing is perfectly excellent !!
No one could sing better than this.
N Phil's harmony makes this complete.
OMG-RU-Friggen kiding me?, This was thee very first song i fell in love with back in the early 60's. Pure and simple. All self explanitory. No MTV, Streaming, Iphone, yadah, yadah, Blah-blah friggen blah. Simple goddam sound. Get it? Real music!!!! UGH, all future punks must go away!!! NOW!!! Do not reply, you will be friggen ignored, as justfully so...
One of my favorite EB songs, very unique in that while Phil was the composer, Don sings the song as a solo except for the two choruses. I loved their music from the first time I heard Bye Bye Love in the Spring of 1957, when I was 11, almost 12, and they were 20 and 18. RIP Phil, and thank you for over 50 years of wonderful melodies & harmonies.
"A Date With The Everly Brothers" from 1960 was one of the few albums that my mom still had from her teenage/high school years. I played the hell out of that thing when I was a kid! Cathy's Clown seems to be the only song that charted really big from that album, but there were several other songs on there that should've been just as big, and this was one of them. It's probably my favorite EB's tune of all time. Brilliantly written and just super catchy. It's been in my head all these years!
