For years I look for this song, but I didn't know the lyrics, or who sung this song. Yesterday I was looking for this song, as always, with no luck. This morning El DeBarge other song, Love Me in a Special Way popped into my head for whatever reason. Then I thought, the person who sing this song sound just like El DeBarge. So I rushed to my computer to google el debarge songs, and clicked on the first video that popped up that I wasn't familiar with, which was Someone. Sure enough this was the song I was looking for, for YEARS. I was super excited and quickly bought it on itunes. I have played this song at least 20 times in a row and still listening to it as I type this comment. It's one of my all time favorite songs.

Boy oh boy, I wore this song out when I was younger. Back then (the 80s), music was on cassette tapes, 45s, records, LPs, albums, etc. Heck, I even remember sitting at my stereo/radio with my cassette tape cued up to record, waiting for the radio station to play El Debarge's song "Someone" so I could tape it onto my slow jams cassette tape. Then I would listen to it on my walkman with the volume blasted. LOL, those were the days.
