I first heard this on Pandora a year ago and I never caught the name of it. I thought of it often though. I heard it on Pandora today and I just couldn't believe it. So bittersweet.
It is the voice of our ancestors, speaking through us,
And the voice of our inheritors, waiting to be born
It is the small, still voice that says
We are one
I wish i could dance in the dawn like this. Maybe at the end of the world, where only those with love will remain, we can move as worry-less as our hearts are weightless.
THIS track is somewhere between sadness and happiness, between relaxation and melancholy. it's quite a feat to achieve. as a music producer i am confounded.
The universe speaks in many languages, but only one voice.
The language is not English, or Arabic, or Russian, or Chinese or Hindi.
It speaks in the language of hope
It speaks in the language of trust
It speaks in the language of strength and the language of compassion
It is the language of the heart and the language of the soul.
But always it is the same voice
You've been up all night, your head is full, your heart is full. Time to recharge. Slowly you make the pilgrimage back to camp. Your mind flashes postcards of the day. Sensory overload is the title, as you prod along kicking up a little dust. Looking to the East as the new SUN peeks over the mountains. This is your DAWN.
“It is no secret. All power is one in source and end, I think. Years and distances, stars and candles, water and wind and wizardry, the craft in a man's hand and the wisdom in a tree's root: they all arise together. My name, and yours, and the true name of the sun, or a spring of water, or an unborn child, all are syllables of the great word that is very slowly spoken by the shining of the stars. There is no other power. No other name.”
