Not a hit but Dorsey Burnette is one of my favorite song writers in music. Not close to the immitation of Johnny cash but it does have the beat right.

for the period of time i was with dorsey as his friend and buddy to all the concerts. I never heard this song...he did cut alot of what were to be released at a later date postamasly or when the time was right...as for the flute, it must have been before my time with him.

Not the greatest Dorsey effort - I agree with ffairlane57 the flute is like a nun in a brothel - shouldn't be there. I think this is a track that should never have been released. It's experimental and flawed. I thought it was "'My Name is Jimmy Brown sir..." the Flatt and Scruggs classic. Anyhows, the Burnettes remain in my box of musical treasures.
Interesting upload tho' and please don't take my comment as a pejorative on your effort.
