Take into account that I'm really not a metal/hardcore/screamo-head (every once in awhile a band like Acid Bath, Mastadon, or Kvelertak will catch my ear) and I know tons of people will LOVE this, but I really didn't care for any of it until ~ 4:27. From there on was great. I think I would have been really into it if that was the music behind the song.
