This era has come, and gone forever. A time when you had a chance to enjoy childhood, and all its innocence. Now its drugs, drive by shootings, and home invasions.
So sweet :) I was talking with my Nana about actresses in her day and she mentioned Debbie Reynolds from Tammy. I showed her this and she started singing and said " You're taking me back to when I was 16"- A beautiful moment I shared with my Nana ❤
As a 12 year old boy I meet the great Debbie Reynolds but I had no idea just who she was when she came to visit my Mom; who is a world expert of roses and Miss Reynolds came to our home to collect a very rare rose cutting. Several years later my Mom received a dozen rose from the very rose cutting my Mom gave to her favorite star. The note attached said, "Josie, thank you for now being my favorite rose. Always your friend, Debbie." I called my Mom in California today and she cried while this song played in the background as we talked.
Thank you Debbie fore sharing your amazing and once in a a life time talent. God Bless you, Carrie and all your family.

Gosh I love this song..reminds me when I was a kid and my siblings and I would sit on our tv room floor watching this movie(in the 60s)..mom and dad here, all of us healthy, and us kids just happy as can be!!
There are only a few ladies in history to earn the title of America's Sweetheart. Mary Pickford, Shirley Temple, Doris Day, Annette Funicello, and of course Debbie Reynolds.
I remember watching this when I was a kid. I've grown and gone through a few problems like everyone else and after more than 50 years since I last heard it I'm listening again with tears in my eyes. There is an innocent beauty here that money simply won't buy and all the Madonnas, Rhiannas and Mileys will never replace. RIP Debbie xxx
