My grandpa drove for 61 years in a big rig and my uncle has been doin it for the better part of 35 years. I spent a lot of time in those big truks growin up and wuldnt change it for anything. Now im in my mid 40's and still respect those guys and gals more than anything cuz trust me, if u have it a truker helped get it there. Show them some respect on the road cuz they cant stop or maneuver like other vehicles.
This song came up in a memorial video made for my great uncle who's funeral we were able to attend and it makes me tear up and sing along each time I hear it. Family means everything to me and it sucks that I would put my life on the center line for them but most would not for me. Only my immediate family would, maybe. Much love to my grandparents in heaven and my great uncle Clinton!
The great Dan Seals...you and your great music has inspired many of those felt trapped in small towns to give them the courage to expand their horizons into the big city and finally figure out why small towns are so great and shouldn't have left in the first place! lol You are missed!
I could hear some big ole diesel whine, she was goin through all the gears, what a great line. And once you hear that sound you are hooked. It's like a drug. Love hearing my 525 horses winding up as she goes through her 13 gears.
My dad had me up in the seat of an old kenworth cabover when I was 5 and it rubbed off on me cause that’s the wheel I’m holding in my hand everyday and I wouldn’t trade it for anything, long live the cowboys
