Sometimes I need the fuel I drain from you
That lasting dose turns cold and blue
I’ve died before so many times
In time reborn, in time I’ll find
That everlasting glow that blinds my view
My apathy turns thru and thru
This war inside has drained my will
Those things I’ve done were overkill
I’ve felt the pain of a brutal war
I feel the pain of a lasting war
Sometimes I need the fuel I drain from you
That lasting dose turns cold and blue
This war inside has drained my will
Those things I’ve done were overkill
I’ve felt the pain of a brutal war
I feel the pain of a lasting war
Someone seriously needs to make a drum cover video of this song with no music for those times when I'm playing guitar and I wish there were drums and it wouldn't take me 15 minutes to program them. And playing along to a real drummer is more fun, even over the net.
Nice and slow and fucking pounding
Seen these guys live once, Tuska 2010, they really impressed me and the crowd too, they were unknown as far as I'm aware but people did like them a lot, and for a reason
One of my favourite songs while being drunk as shit. Crowbar is a legend, even though Beavis & Butthead took shit out'em back in the 90's. B&B are now dead but Crowbar is still alive and well. Keep up the good work Kirk. I'm emptying next bottle while listening to Crowbar's music right now.
Greetings
Men, in the worst moments of my life, it has been Crowbar's music that helps me go on, specially the Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form
100% agree with you men!
I'm normally a heavy metal man, I like high-pitch singing, long guitar solos and all that. And normally I hate this type of growling sing style.
But damn, this stuff is good!
I so agree Crowbar has helped me through the darkest times of my life, and they are helping me through my current dark stage, which is the worst I have ever faced...
Literally one of the best voices in metal. Grimey but melodic. He's almost always singing a melody but he just fucking screams it and its perfect. Rock on Crowbar.
This band has a weird way of just capturing mental chaos very well. The vocals alone really punctuate escalating insanity, beginning as a concerning shout that caps off as a brutal shriek.
