A real macho dude. Another era. Many of these old pop singers I adore (like Manfred Mann), but this guys are certainly not on the list.

Although I really liked Cliff Bennett, what made this for me was seeing the fabulous Roy Young on keyboard. You rarely see him in many of the other clips on here. I saw them at the Klloks Kleek in West Hampstead, London, in the early 60s and Roy sang a couple of Sam & Dave numbers before Cliff came on stage. Just amazing.

Chas Hodges who would later go on to form Chas and Dave played in this band.
