I really don't think Cire are ripping off Maynard's vocal style, they just have very similar singing voices. Maynard uses a wide variety of styles anyway, like in Ticks & Leeches, the screams that put his voice out for 6 weeks. Then you have the soft voice on Wings for Marie etc, and the harsh vocal style of Undertow. I might be wrong, but I honestly think Cire aren't trying to rip off his vocal style.

Where are these guys!? This sound is amazing. I'm discovering them on Spotify right now, as well as the singer's other band, Emptyself. His lyrics are so freaking deep, and every song is written so well. Our society is such a bunch of sellouts when talented bands like this end up in obscurity. A toast to you Cire, you are ear candy.

Reading through the comments I'm really relieved that people are open to bands sounding like their influences As a musician I hope to one day have a band that would be similar to this and to draw upon the influences of Tool APC isis King Crimson and the such as well Cire is one of the better bands executing their influences. Bands like Breaking Benjamin and 10 years while they started out well, kept writing the same damn song over and over gain, thusly becoming boring, I hope cire won't follow.
