The Judds' version is very good, too. And I do love that video. But technically I would not call it a Judds' song, although Naomi contributed. I would guess that Paul Overstreet provided the lyrics, and Naomi helped with the vocals.
My goal was to treat this from a Christian point of view. The Judds' version was more secular, sort of a "feel good" song, about cooperation. And that's fine We need cooperation. I wanted a more inspirational view, so I chose a Christian artist, Christy Nockels.
The Judds original video was still far better than this as were the vocals too and of course this was their song.
It absolutely surprises me that this song hasn't been and isn't used now to promote world peace unity, not that it would be the answer to world troubles as there is no solution to this and never will be but a song like this could make one hell of a difference even if it only reached the mind of one out of ten people who heard it.
As for The Judd's what a fantastic duo, wow how good
Just beautiful Bob!! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful song and video!!! Touched me deeply!!! God bless you always my Kingdom brother and friend!!!
Bob & Barb, this is a supremely special video, since Barb took
many of the photos, & is in several photos. I like the last photo
the best, with Barb standing in the front of the group of people.
Sometimes I am not sure what love is, because I have been
brutally beaten & punished by people who claim to love me.
There are other people who claim to love me & treat me with
dignity, respect, kindness, generosity, gentleness, sweetly.
I know Jesus & His Angels truly love me & vice versa.
Very nice song by Christy Nockels. She's a great singer together with her husband Nathan. Thank you for posting this song. Yes, we have to show the love of Jesus always with everyone.
