The Cannonball imparting some Florida Funk into this gold standard of jazz. This is one of those songs that no matter the improvisation, its basic structure still shines through. Many have played it, few have delivered it, none have owned it...that is, until this remarkable session. And the music will last forever.

' One of my favorite ballads. Horace Silver is the greatest "motivic" soloist in the pantheon of jazz pianists. (No wonder, in the early days, they referred to Cannon as "Little 'Bird.")
