Wherever i go that tomorrow is here, and time a thief
and love s so brief
lost in the dark
Our moment is swift, wherever i go that tomorrow is here
withers away
Everything ends, time is so old, darling we re late
darling we re late
Time is so old, the curtain descends
And always too soon, and love s so brief
Love is a spark, our summer day
Darling speak low, darling we re late, the curtain descends
Our summer day, everything ends
Our moment is swift, darling i wait, were swept apart
Darling we re late, darling i wait Tjader, when you speak love
Darling speak low, lost in the dark
Love is a spark, the curtain descends Cal, tomorrow is near
And always too soon, our moment is swift, darling we re late
When you speak love, and love s so brief Speak, wherever i go that tomorrow is here
love is a spark
When you speak love, our moment is swift, when you speak love
tomorrow is near
When you speak low to me speak love to me and soon, and always too soon
To you the great Cal Tjader, I thank you, in hearing you the first time long ago...I remarked, Who's this cat? from another table I heard.....Where you been man.....That's Cal Tjader....so it was, and always will be.....Love you Cal...
Listening to this in Casablanca, Morocco on an hazy Wednesday morning....reminds me of my hometown San Francisco❤
With Jazz, all things are possible! Blessings to all
speak low has been one of my most favorite even when Tjader was in SF, over 30 years or more, never got off my favorite music and a group!!! Thanks for keeping up front for us!!

wiki: "He won a Grammy in 1980 for his album La Onda Va Bien, capping off a career that spanned over forty years." ....
i think Cal should be listed in several 'Hall(s)-of-Fame....
The late Cal Tjader recorded lots of great music. I recommend people to explore it. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I personally have a collection of them myself. "A Gozar"
Can't understand how someone can click on a subject they have no knowledge of and then seem to feel that they should let us all know how bad they think it is. Maybe they should check out the thumbs up/down before showing their ignorance.
This is one of the best played songs ever and the flute player is fantastic as well as Cal. I think it's Roger Glenn playing flute, who I never heard of.
