The lyrics and the instrumental itself makes it sound dark and mysterious, and I think that Brandy's voice and her harmony and layering skills made it a master piece. Every song she sings, she makes it song like she wrote it. But we all know some songs she didn't write but when she sings it, it sounds like it came from the heart, went down on paper, and on to a record. And this is why I don't listen to any other artist instead of Brandy. And I'm only 13

Well yeah, I'm a big Frank fan, so of course biased will come into play and I'm not going to deny that, that's just human initiation - we have our natural preferences.
However, music is music, there is no superior opinion, at the end of the day, it's a piece of art for us to interpret and I simply like Frank's better. I like Frank's tone, plus I vastly prefer the beat and guitar intro. If you can't take opinions then there's no point being on the Internet.

Far be it from me to bite down on anyone's opinion, since I like Frank and love Brandy, but how ANYONE can honestly say Frank Ocean is a better vocalist than Brandy is lost on me. She is called "The Vocal Bible" for a reason. She might not have much range, which is why a lot of people try to knock her out of the rankings, but she has some of the cleanest, consistent, and most stable live and studio vocals of any singer out. You can compare their artistry, but vocally there is none.

Brandy's version has widely different instrumentalization than Frank's version. I personally like Frank's since I can feel more heart, emotions and well composed.
