Liked it in '57, and even more so now. Still got my '57 Bel air that we listened to it on a.m. Going to crank it today and cruise with "Raunchy". Thanks much for the download,
Sam Phillips "imperfectly perfect" view of music is no better illustrated than here. The performance is almost a mess from the "neat and tidy" school's point of view but what a great sound! I am old enough to remember this one coming out in the fifties and being hypnotised by the jazz/blues licks which were something we in Britain had never heard before. Amazingly it sounds as good now as it did then.
It just feels so weird that I'm sitting here on my computer in December 2012 listening to exactly the same song George Harrison listened to, liked, and then learnt on the guitar in 1958.
