still hitting the spot for me too "soul brother" it just takes me back everytime i hear it , back to an alnight RnB club in soho in late 64 when this little gem was a new release ! bought it new back then and played the life out of it for years after ! and now after 50 odd years it still gets those butterflies going all over again ! all hail the great betty everitte , it can get as "crowded" as you like lady, you're still ticking all the boxes for me !

couldn't agree more top tune from back in the day, had it myself on fontana label, they used to play it in the last chance saloon in oxford st, thanks for posting an R n B classic, wow ! memories man ! ha ha

I have the Fontana single only recently acquired it and what a sound!The Laid bare versions you hear on compilation albums are tosh.make no mistake this is the real thing. Full on everything here and oh did I mention the bass?? This is the Jewell in the crown!!Cannot believe the sound quality. These CDs are crap.....
