can't argue with you on that!!! Sadly though,, he is overlooked by most people,, and don't even know his name!!! He was probably the best tenor! Pavarotti even said so in interviews! Although I am Italian myself,, I try not to be biased,, but,, opera would not be opera without the great Italian masters through the past century and more!
It's Gigli's first movie, 1935 "Non Ti Scordar di Me" (Do Not Forget Me) and I bought my VHS copy, BCS-0504, years ago from Bel Canto Society online. I treasure it, as many do, his most popular film.
