I loved this song, and this album - my first real rock record as a teenager, and April Wine was the first concert I ever went to, back 1975 in the "Crushed Can" in Moose Jaw -what a great concert!

Myles Goodwyn This was recorded in 1975. The album is a fave of mine for a few reasons..one it was my first time producing a record. It was our first record that wasn`t just a collection of 3 minute "single" attempts, it was an ALBUM. This recording had the feel of teen spirit and innocence that I could never quite find again. The cannon on the cover we had built and we toured with it, shooting confetti INTO THE AUDIENCE! People would be trying to put our little fires in their hair! LOL Oh my...back then you didn`t need a licence to use pyro. Our main concern with the cannon were two infact. 1. that it would work when I would dramatically, with a long burning torch, attempt to fire it on stage. 2. that nothing was put into the barrel, like a bottle or nails or something, when no one was looking. In the song Billy and Ian (Billy`s called he`s got the van and Ian`s got a set of drums)were the engineers on the session. I STILL work with Billy Zawlowski. During the recording, Billy turned me on to Van Halen`s first lp. Good times..it was our first PLATINUM selling record. Just saying...

All the voices and guitar works and all the instrument's arrangements are outstanding and out of this world, I could compare it to Mozart's music : every notes are and the mood they create is alltogether "perfection" !!!
