I just heard the sweetest story on the radio this morning that involved this song. I know that I must have heard this song before, but I had to look it up anyway. I'm awfully glad that I had older parents that appreciated good music!

He sang in too high of a key and strained his voice too much in these early recordings. As he matured and sang in his natural baritone, he was unbeatable. Too bad he didn't re-record this song as well as some others.
