Love those old Peavey amps. I used a Peavey bass amp back in the mid 70's-early-80's and it was a tough sucker. Fell out of the back of a pickup truck going about 20mph and I used it that night. No problems at all not even a buzz.

One of those rare bands that sound just as good in person as they did on the studio recordings.

Amazing how Donnie looks so much like Ronnie right here. Those Van Zant boys are one of a kind!

Donnie was always the hardest working man in show biz! And those twin drummers brought the thunder, indeed!

I think of the Movie Joe Dirt when I hear this song, driving around in his 69 Dodge Daytona!

No special effects, synthesizers, or other artificial elements. Just pure rock and roll!

Skynyrd rejects? Wow, I love Skynyrd, BUT, Jeff Carlisi was just as talented as Gary Rossington, and Barnes was probably as talented as any musician in Southern Rock at that time. Still is, for that matter. The only thing missing was RONNIE Van Zant. But, Donnie might not have his voice or songwriting skills, but he is one hell of a showman. Whatever, it worked for .38, that's for sure. They were NOBODY's B-Team.

The best rock and roll came from the westside of Jacksonville. Ronnie, Donnie, and Johnnie VAN ZANT. NUFF SAID!

The twin guitars Jeff Carlisi n Don Barnes are the focal point of the Band's sound.and the two mesh in a unique style.

I was about 23 when my Dad walked into my room and took album off my record player while I was listening. I asked what I do? And Dad said taking to the front room ,the stereo is better
