it was bluesy.. you could call them prog rock all you want but they can't compete with the big guys in terms of prog. they even have a funkiness to their music. Latest from mars for example. most of the blusiness can be heard in his singing. in terms of music theory, it's very discreet, but the bluesy mood is there man
