"I'm Mandy Fly Me" is like a collection of three songs all in one, similar to "Band On The Run" or "Bohemian Rhapsody". The 70's was good value for money.

I first heard this when I was 20 years old. I was in a bed sit that had been sorted out for me by the RAF as I had been MD and had nowhere to go. I was about to start a job as a domestic at a Psychiatric hospital and was in despair. On the floor I had an old radio alarm clock, I was listening to the John peel show and he played this. I had heard most of 10CC commercial songs but not Mandy. It lifted me at a point where I thought I could not get much lower. 25 years on, the reason for my discharge as taken much from me but Whenever I hear this, I think back to that bed sit and the place I was and then look at where I am now... How many of you out there studied 10CC lyrics and if a word came up in conversation you would quote from the great band? I have been doing this for 40 years. Incredibly good lyrics and very clever. Vocals were also excellent and the songs had harmony. Full house. One of my favourite groups of all time.
