Its amazing how samples from modern day work always draws me back to classics like this. Between my grandparents and my taste in music Ive fallen in love with songs from the 60s and 70s despite being born in 92.

The era of this music is alive in my heart and I keep it alive. My late brother Marvin Hogan RIP turned me on to contemporary jazz at age 13 and I'm thankful. Ronnie Laws is one of the best saxophonist of his time. I have everything he put out.

I love this song no matter how old it is it's still ahead of its time.

Ronnie, Wilton Felder, George Duke, and Donald Byrd to name a few, were, and are still some of the best musician's that I have had the joy, and privilege to have heard in my lifetime, Thank you Lord Jesus!

I remember listening to this song riding with my dad and brother in a park avenue Buick with the Windows down leaving the barbershop with a neatly shaped fro enjoying the breeze as a kid. Those truly were the days. Houston, Tx artist Ronnie Laws did his thang with this!
