Dang I finally found it. Heard this song in the opening scene of Homicide: Life On The Street - Fallen Heroes Pt 2.

Homicide 'Fallen Heroes' . Episode 1 ends showing them gun up to One More Heartache by Paul Butterfield followed by this opening part 2 was genius. Homicide was so special for so many reasons including its use of music
