George was the deepest Beatle in my opinion.

one of the best songs I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. Original always sounds better. Thanks mafia 3 for opening my eyes and ears

George Harrison also wrote Something, Here Comes the Sun, and Taxman. Listen to them. What's my point ? He didn't need to cover anything, he loved this song, and wanted everyone too know. It was 1987.

I can see Weird Al's point in his parody of George Harrison's version. There's lyrics here that George omitted from his version for whatever reason. Including them would've made it feel a little less repetitive, but that version still sounds great. Also, can anyone else imagine this being performed in a broadway stage show? When I hear those horns, I think of either broadway, or 1940s movie orchestrations, something like those.

Used to love the Harrison cover. But now that I listened to the original, I ike this version better. I still like Harrison's version, but this one is better. This guy's vocals rock. Makes it sound so easy.

look both versions are nice, George obviously recognized a good song when he heard it and i bet James would have appreciated being remembered

I can't believe someone went back in time to release a cover of George's song before he even wrote it

Never herd this original version before, but I found I actually like it much better. It has more personality and is more upbeat.

This version seems to be missing the George Harrison backflip off a chair

We forget that lads like Harrison, Bowie and Jagger etc grew up listening to obscure black musicians on vinyl and ripping off their riffs or the whole song. Most people in the UK had never heard it befor, it was all new and most bands played covers from the states. A few like The Beatles broke away from the crowd with originals too. But It's not up to the artist to announce its a cover, if you don't know then you don't know, but he knew.

I love both versions. This has the oldies feel to it and then George's is awesome!
