Once upon a time, Simon House, Nik Turner, Lemmy Kilminster, Dave Brock and Michael Moorcock were all in the same rock band. These could not be more different individuals, yet they were able to melt together into this outstanding work.

Saw Hawkwind twice in the 70s best band i ever saw then  really blew my mind away 

This was the sound track to my homeless struggle.

My dad first played this album on the way to my grandparents house when I was 8. I didn't understand it in the slightest, and now at only 7 years later, I can say this album is a damn masterpiece, and the song is my favorite by Hawkwind.

The Golden Void that Speaks to Me ... .denying My Reality .

Epic album. Days of motorcycles, greasy old cut offs and damn fine music. Still sends chills through me.

This evokes a mood like Epitaph or Cirkus, by King Crimson, or Masters of Reality's Blue Garden. Or 30,000 Light Years From Home, by the Rolling Stones. Not many songs or artists can do that. A marvelous piece of music.

It has been said of Hawkwind's music that it is "full of atmosphere and energy": what could be better than that?

As mindblowing as it was in the golden age of blow and lsd as now without. the mind does not forget!!!

Perhaps the single greatest Hawkwind riff, and that's saying something. The Mellotron is what really makes it. But then that is what Mellotrons do.
