It seems to me that they sound like The Everly Brothers.

I guess that many young people do not know this pivotal band. Those of us who were around in the '60s really appreciate Buffalo Springfield.

Another one of my favorites from 1966. An early "Super Group" who helped shape the course of music.

All these comparisons-Buffalo Springfield is best not compared to anyone else. There never was and has been anything like them since. Despite CSNY and all the rest, the Springfield were so unique, so original, etc. it's best to just enjoy it. Only three LPs and look what we got. I'm 58 so I bought the actual records a little later than there original release date. Nobody did what they did.

One of my all-time favorites. I have had it on album, cassette, CD and now itunes. The guitar work up there with John Hartford's Gentle on My Mind, also in my top 5.

It is as good now as it was then, and has truly stood the test of time.

"For What It's Worth" was their biggest single. Maybe if they had stayed together, they would have had greater success. I have always preferred groups that harmonize well. You can add to your list the Hollies, Beach Boys, Spanky and Our Gang, the Association, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and the Fifth Dimension.

What a masterpiece, especially the three electric guitars at the solo.

This is what is missing in the present-day “musical” climate.

Yes, Steve Stills' solo album with "Love the One You're With" was a very fine album. I have not thought about it for quite a while.
