Back in the days when mastery of the instrument wasn't enough, you actually needed soul and then some. Long Live REAL MUSIC INDEED. Thank goodness for the 70's and making music like this possible.

Every now and then I listen to this just as a reminder that there are musicians in this world who put music first.

Back in the 70's I had a fire in my apt.. Out of the 200 albums I had,the SweetNighter album was the only 1 that got damaged. The album was warped from the heat. Went right out & got a new 1.Boogie Woogie Waltz what a jam.

This group will always be regarded as the ultimate fusion band. I have been a fan since the 70s, have seen perform live and I will go to my grave as their number one fan!

My dad used to play this a lot when I was little. It was because of him I learned to appreciate good music at a young age and why Weather Report is one of my favorite groups of all time. Thanks dad.

bought this album on vinyl the week it was released,  when I was 20, am almost 63 and I still think it's one of the greatest.

A DJ at this roller located in Huber Heights Ohio played the LP and cut the lights off on the skate floor. The crowd was grooving hard, jam packed on the floor. 70's old head afro crowd
