I am at 40 years old now someone who can qualify as a lifelong UFO huge fan I got into them back in 1988 when I was 12 just a 12 year old boy. It was a terrifying time in my life one of the darkest periods then, but Phil Mogg's vocals and intelligently written lyrics and their melodic sound comfort me as much now as they did then. Peace and healing to Pete Way if we lose him I'm gonna cry for 3 hours straight I know it and I'm scared that he might die from the heart attack he suffered. Paul Gray who you see here fit in great he brought something a little different to UFO and Misdemeanor is one of their most overlooked albums. This song is the story of a man with a broken heart feeling angry, used, and hopeless in a hotel room and Atomik Tommy M and the band make it sound like there is an ominous undercurrent. Some fans think Misdemeanor isn't a classic album, but I love it and think that the songs are great. Phil is to England what Bruce Springsteen is to America- he is very American influenced and is like England's Bruce the fact he's British making it like he's extending a lot of passion for my country. Thank you UFO and I hope Pete will feel better soon.

Oh wow! Phil Mogg's lyrics are always so heartfelt and Atomik Tommy was a great guitar player. I think this period all smooth and slick and polished up was just a sign of the times that hard rock was trying to go in a little different direction. Look at the amount of albums from this era that were unlikely and you will see Misdemeanor wasn't the only with pop sparkle. You have Diamond Head's Canterbury and even Iron Maiden lost their rawness at this period. To me Maiden is almost like, guitar wise, you have Brian Tattler and Atomik Tommy with a singer who goes for the jugular. All of this music will make you smile. If you don't you must be really cynical. I can recommend bands you won't have heard of too.
