Edyth Wright sang with the Dorsey band for years and left suddenly. Affair with Tommy broke up his marriage. Then he didn't marry Edyth, which is what you did back then. Sounds like poor Edyth, a beautiful and talented singer, got the shaft from old Tommy. Not the world's nicest guy, by all accounts.
