This song makes me think of that episode of the Simpsons where a theme park is built in honor of Maude Flanders and there is a statue of her in the park and people kneel down in front of it and it makes them high.
when I was 16 my friends and I would hang out at that Dam. just skateboarding, riding bikes, using Street Signs as sleds to slide down those concrete hills. miss those days. once in a while we'd go there and just hang and enjoy the view of the freeway and sunset.
This song is packed with greatness. Even though it is only a 3 minute song it seems like 5 minutes have gone by with so many great sections, from the different drum transitions, to the intermittent saxophones, to the interesting lyrics, to the etc.
