I was driving through New Mexico one day on Interstate 40 and called in a request to play Last Night on the local Navajo radio station. They did! And before I got out of range. Bless them. We used to sit in our cars in the late 50s with all the windows down in the Safeway parking lot and honk the horn to this song - good times, except when the cops objected.

Damn good driving music until the State Trooper hit me with the instant-on radar. He wasn't thrilled with 116 in 65 zone. But since I didn't give him an attitude and there was little to no traffic he gave me written warning. He said if there was a next time he'd lower the boom on me. I thanked him a heap and eased on home. I still had fun before he got me.
