after all these years, "sketch for summer " is still utter perfection, my top 3 songs ever, in every slide and slip of the fret, the drugged down beatbox, the unspoken lyrics, it's blake in flames with his arms outstretched, it's charles lamb sleeping, it's austin osman spare drawing and yawning and laughing, yet there's all those other evening hours of other music by vini reilly, a magician, constantly ignored, waking and working, a true manchester gentleman, we should be building statues ( he'd hate that ) this is beyond music, its musick thank you vini, i've nothing but love for you, alex,x

I have a MINT copy of this record with the SANDPAPER COVER. Found it in 1989, in an abandoned apartment in Santa Monica CA, along with a crate of other cool 80's records. I had the crate since then and never even realized it was in there until the other day. It's MINT, never seen turntable. I'm afraid to play it. Rock on : )
