Jesus has released the chains that once held me (although I was never in prison). I was in the prison of addiction and had some chains that had me bound up and shackles of my own failures, in fact I was wondering how long I was going to be chained up. Then Jesus looked at this prisoner of his own addiction and said to me, "my Son Sonny, you are now free" and I found redemption through Jesus Christ, my Savior! Praise God from Who all blessings flow!

This is probably one of the saddest and most touching song I have ever heard. We are all prisoners, and chained by our sins. Thank God for his mercy and grace. Breaking the bounds of death and giving us life abundantly and eternally. Thank you Mr Chapman, Your ministry touches both the saved and unsaved. You are truly a man of God. And I am thankful that I can share the same Father in Heaven.
