I almost cried when I saw them at MDF last year and John told the security guard to pass me his guitar pick and later told me that Nuke was vastly approaching the end. "I'm old," he said. it was hard to accept. There has been no greater time in metal than this era. It was new and fresh. I didn't have a care in the world. Granted, I was a baby when many of these bands formed and wasn't even allowed to stay up late enough to see any of the Headbangers Ball episodes into the 90s. Nonetheless, these bands made my childhood a most excellent one.
