Wish Nelson Riddle did more Bossa Nova. Wonderful sound!

Heard this song either by Riddle or Jobin on LM radio in Johannesburg,beautiful memories.

I heard this in a record store in San Francisco back in 1973 and immediately bought a copy. Among my favorite albums of orchestral music to this day.

Nelson Riddle was a terrific arranger. Thank you, In-Flight, for making this available. That special rise in tension at the one minute mark is really engaging, repeated again later. Just great.

This song was written by Antonio Carlos Jobim (with lyrics by Vinicius de Moraes) and released on the album "Wave" in 1967.

Nice Bossa Nova tune with that unmistakable Brazilian touch in it. Timeless really it is still good to hear 45years later.
