Man, we need these type of movies again. Instead of shooting everyone, they tried to work with us. Lulu and this movie was great and probably one of my favorites. So much better times back then, and yes I am now in my 70's and still listen to this music. Can never get enough of Karen.

In a unruly classroom Sidney Poitier brought dignity to the girl. to act like a woman. then in the end she sings this to him. A classic. where is the guidance and respect, and moral compass these days? they should show this movie in every class in America. those were special times back then.

I was in college when I saw this movie. I wasn't sure what I wanted as a major. After I saw To Sir With Love, I decided to major in education. I taught for 44 years and retired a couple of years ago. I don't regret a single moment. I really miss it.
