I hear whales calling to one another. A sound I'd heard once years ago sailing from San Francisco to Dutch Harbor. What could they tell us if we truly listened, if only we could understand.
I adore it. Don't want to be that guy that compares the composer to the artist but I still love the Sigur rós version far more. But they have such a different vibe to it. This is haunting.
I don`t know why, but I feel so strange listening to this. It sound lke I heard that lond time ago... Deja vu? Sounds insane, but probably somebody feel smth like that too, pls share.
A yearning, haunted quality to it. Beautifully played (of course! It's Kronos!). But develops a countering energy in response. Listening to it a very few days since the death of someone close to me, it expresses my feelings more accurately than I could verbally. Many thanks for the post.
I/we had front row seats to see Kronos when they appeared in my town...It was this very song that drew me to them...They didn't do this song, and it was for me a disappointing performance. More of a nostalgia line-up...Oh, well...Lesson learned...Still love this song...
It sounds like a whale's cry... It has the quality of darkness, mystery, depth, just like the ocean and it leaves me with the anxious feeling of sensing that which is yet to be explored or discovered
