What fantastic music we had back then; so many great singers like Elvis, Marty Robbins, Gene Pitney, Pat Boone, Sam Cooke, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, The Everlys, Bobby Darin, Jimmie Rodgers, Connie, Brenda Lee, Patti Page, Del Shannon, Patsy Cline, Eddie Cochran et al. The list is endless, so thankful I was a teenager back then when music was melodious and fun and not like the garbage today.
I'm Rocky Burnette's girlfriend. I have always loved this era of music most of all. Johnny Burnette was such a special man, a great dad and a huge talent. Who could ever tire of listening to him sing? He's simply awesome.
This is the music I grew up with, that had such an influence upon me. Now, thanks to the kindness of so many, I can listen to all those songs that had such an influence upon me. It doesn't get any better than this...Peace and Tranquility
