I am from Hawick in the Scottish Borders. I can understand wanting to go home. Go before the sailor cries for the last time

Speed, bonnie boat, like a bird on the wing, Onward! the sailors cry; Carry the lad that's born to be King Over the sea to Skye. Loud the winds howl, loud the waves roar, Thunderclaps rend the air; Baffled, our foes stand by the shore, Follow they will not dare. [Chorus] Though the waves leap, soft shall ye sleep, Ocean's a royal bed. Rocked in the deep, Flora will keep Watch by your weary head. [Chorus] Many's the lad fought on that day, Well the claymore could wield, When the night came, silently lay Dead on Culloden's field. [Chorus] Burned are their homes, exile and death Scatter the loyal men; Yet ere the sword cool in the sheath Charlie will come again.

when i was in 3rd grade our music teacher taught the choir this song. Sadly i could not hold a tune so i was not in the choir however this song resonates with me and always bring me back to being 9 yr old. Music / song is very powerful reference point in our lives

Aside from being bad news for him, what the hell difference does it make for you if he has HIV or not, especially if you like his music?

I’ve been to Culloden. One could feel, almost hear the battle and the slain beneath one’s feet.
