I am checking in at age 70. Having been an usher at the Hollywood Bowl, I got paid 12 dollars (plus tips) to see Jefferson Airplane perform live on September 15, 1967. I was right up front and even went back stage that night. When they did "White Rabbit" the crowd was transfixed. I still remember that night, that very moment, such a very long time ago...

Woodstock, was great time. I was very young when I went. Had to lie to my folks. I remember the medical tent was always full of overdoses, several baby's were born there as well. One guy left the area, and went to sleep in a farmers field near by, and was killed in the early hours by a reaper tractor, which chopped him to small pieces, because it was dark, and the farmer couldn't see him. I could hardy find a space to put down my blanket, and people constantly spilled beer, and food all over me. Got some great pictures of beautiful naked girls walking down to the lake to bathe. I slept in the mud, because of the heavy rain, and got three traffic tickets, for riding my motorcycle up the side of 9 miles of backed up traffic. After three days I couldn't hear anymore from camping too close to the bandstand. Despite all of that, I would do it again in a minute, because it was history, and I got to see the greatest talent level of a generation, many who are now gone, and I get to carry that memory to the grave with me..
