I liked India Arie years ago when she started singing songs likes "Beautiful" "Ready for love" and "Beautiful flower" but this new album that she just put out tops it all. I am always hungry for songs that satiate the deep hunger inside to find my destiny and that inner connection with myself but also the Divine in all things. She can give me that connection. I am an aspiring music artist and singer. I am trying to figure out what is popular in the music industry without getting caught up in what everyone else is singing about. I want to inspire others to find that greater connection that goes past the physical realm of things. Not related to a certain religion or group of people, but everyone of every belief, every God, every journey, and every personality. India Arie has inspired me!!!! To do just that....

She played this song last night during her Songversation in Bmore. I got to do the meet and greet! She was so beautiful and nice and she kissed my cheek! Maybe cuz I was probably the youngest one in the theatre (I'm 17), but i also got her song sheet and a shoutout at the end of the concert. I love this woman even more than I did before and I honestly didn't know that was possible!
