i love imagine dragons because their songs are so weird but yet so addicting

What I love about this song is it relates to just about anyone...we all have our interpretations as to what it means to each of us; but that is what the beauty is....it is whatever "we" want it to be. For me, "Dancing in the dark"....is a lonely and scary place; after being in both Iraq and Afghanistan wars..."The Dark" can be your "friend", or your worst nightmare! However, at the same time...just knowing that I had someone on my side to the left and right of me...the dark wasn't such a lonely place. Take this song for what it's worth; your worth!

This has to be my third favorite from Evolve. My interpretation of this track is how I feel most of the time whenever I meet someone new. Whether it become romantic or platonic...hitting it off with someone can be an awesome feeling, but at the same time I feel somewhat guarded so at those times I tend to pull back and go away to the "dark" place where I find solice. That dark place for me is just simply being alone- where I feel most safe; no one can hurt or disappoint me there.
