I don’t hurt anymore all my teardrops are dried
No more walking the floor with that burning inside
Just to think it could be time has opened the door
And at last I am free I don’t hurt anymore
No use to deny I wanted to die
The day you said we were through
But now that I find you’re out of my mind
I can’t believe that it’s true
I’ve forgotten somehow that I cared so before
And it’s wonderful now I don’t hurt anymore
No use to deny I wanted to die
The day you said we were through
But now that I find you’re out of my mind
I can’t believe that it’s true
I’ve forgotten somehow that I cared so before
And it’s wonderful now I don’t hurt anymore
My all time favorite musician, I grew up listening to my mom's old records as a child. His voice was so silky smooth and captivating for me. When I graduated from High School, I became a DJ for a radio station and was able to play my old favorite music, in my show which was named "Old Time Country Show", for 9 glorious years.
Hank Williams once said that the most discouraging point in his career was when he wrote a song for Hank Snow, but Snow never recorded it. I wonder what song that was. And if Hank Snow maybe did record it after Williams died?
