Last by Frankie Paul. The mighty Sara, the title song of the album. . From what I've read it was impossible to walk around certain areas of London in the summer of 1987 and not hear this killer song blasting from the streets. A monster hit in Jamaica, too and a nice ending to our little appreciation of Frankie Paul.

STILL REMEMBERING FRANKIE PAUL. HE WAS ARGUABLY THE MOST FAMOUS JAMAICAN SINGER OF THE LAST 30 YEARS, RELEASING OVER 100 ALBUMS DURING HIS CAREER. In 1987 he dropped the album called Sara and the title song became one of his most memorable creations. .On Jammy's Records, it was produced by King Jammy, the most successful record producer of the 1980's in Jamaica. Sara is one of the all time great LP's from the digital age. From what I've read it was impossible to walk around certain areas of London in the summer of 1987 and not hear this killer song blasting from the streets. A monster hit in Jamaica, too, and for good reason. How could anyone not like this song? (Stunning moment at 1:37 when the bass drops down.)

There is not that many contemporary rock songs that can be reggaefied. This is just one, and very well done too.
