All over the world, people must meet and part;
There’s someone like me feeling the pain in their heart
Some may meet again under that same white star
If maybe some night you come back from afar
Who cares if tonight I don’t know where you are?
Are you thinking of me now
Missing having me around?
If you have forgotten me
My world will come tumbling down
All over the world, others are sad tonight;
There’s someone like me watching the sun’s fading light
All over the sky there is the same warm glow;
Here under that star I’m wanting you to know
Wherever you are, that I still love you so
This is my all time favourite song, I first heard the seekers version and liked it because Judith Durhams voice is crystal clear, then I heard Francoise Hardy and was lost forever 2 minutes 38 seconds of perfection.
Simply lovely. All over the world, a voice to soothe the broken heart. All over the world, a song to fill one with love and hope again. Thanks for posting.
To my one and only love. This song reminds me of the lady I met at 17 the love of my life 50 years ago drowned in the river in our village. Viola I love you now and forever my love.
This song makes me think of all the people I've met that I didn't stay in contact with and wish I could have. Sometimes when I watch the stars come out at night I wonder if some of them are looking at the same sky and moon and if they are thinking of me like I'm thinking of them.

I'm Brazilian, I'm 38 years old, and many people here think it's strange that I like this singer so much. Here are few people who know or remember her. I think it's a matter of affinity between souls that doesn't respect time or space. The beauty of Françoise's music makes us brothers, all over the world.
