He could pick up anyone and imitate his style to the point. One of the most inventive and humouros players of the 20 century USA classical musics called Jazz. But America forgot its culture.

This is quintessential Hines. Starting with a deceivingly simple stride and then letting both his hands go gradually insane all over the keyboard... He could play masterfully in any style, imitate anyone to perfection, but only very few pianists in the history of Jazz could compare to this triad of spectacular virtuosity, boundless inventiveness and cheeky humour that make Fatha so special.
